Spend the morning at Kuta beach which has big waves.  Alex hurts his face when he gets knocked over.  Back in the hotel we find that he chipped his front teeth.  The little streets of Kuta are quite nice but the main roads are full of hassle.

We take an A330 back to Singapore.

And an A380 back home.  The captain announces that there is weather developing but he manages to avoid it.  We do see lots of lightning outside.  We have breakfast near Newbury.

Another half day of lying by the pool and eating in Golo Hilltop’s restaurant.

Then off to Komodo airport and to Bali.  This time we’re staying close to the airport, near Kuta.

Today we did nothing.  Well, almost nothing.  I walked to town to get brownies from the bakery with Emma.  Most time was spent at the pool, and Jane had a nice sleep.

In the evening we had dinner and spotted these really cute spotted geckos.  They are really noisy.
